Treehouse Eyes announced the appointment of Tony Sommer as CEO. Co-founder and current CEO Matt Oerding will step down from his role as CEO and continue serving as board chairman, where he will remain involved in the company’s long-term strategic direction and mission advancement.

Mr. Sommer joins Treehouse Eyes with more than 25 years of leadership experience across optometry, consumer goods, and health care. He has held senior leadership roles at organizations including CooperVision, Alcon, Bausch + Lomb, and Visioneering Technologies. He joins Treehouse Eyes to lead the company’s next phase of growth as it continues expanding access to specialty pediatric myopia care through both its clinic platform and partnerships with eyecare professionals nationwide.
