Valley Contax Inc., in partnership with Contamac US, announced the recipients of the $1,500 travel grants awarded to attend Academy 2026 in Anaheim, California. Applicants were asked to submit a brief essay about the teacher that had the most significant impact on them and why. After careful review, 2 outstanding students have been selected as the deserving winners:

• Julianna Xhaferi, a student from the Class of 2027 at University of Incarnate Word, Rosenburg School of Optometry

• Jayme Podgorowiez, a motivated student from the Class of 2027 at NOVA Southeastern University College of Optometry
