Eaglet Eye announced a new strategic partnership with Ovitz to bring the Xwave aberrometer to the European market. For practitioners, the challenge has long been twofold: achieving a stable, rotationally aligned fit and addressing higher-order aberrations (HOAs), optical distortions that cause symptoms such as ghosting, halos, starbursts, and reduced clarity in low light. Together, the Eye Surface Profiler (ESP) and the Xwave aberrometer provide a unified solution, according to the company.
The combined workflow delivers full anterior surface profilometry for an exact, centered, rotationally stable lens fit; wavefront-based HOA correction for sharper, more customized optics; and a complete data-driven pathway to fully personalized, wavefront-corrected scleral lenses, Eaglet Eye shares. These lenses are now available through select European laboratories, enabling practitioners to deliver a new standard of vision quality and comfort
