The Vision Council Foundation announced the launch of its 2025 Back-to-School Eye Health Campaign, a nationwide initiative encouraging families to prioritize comprehensive eye exams and healthy vision habits as the new school year begins.
Specifically, the campaign highlights the critical role that good vision plays in a child’s ability to learn, develop, and thrive. According to the organization, routine eye exams help detect vision issues, like myopia, early and ensure students are equipped with the glasses or contact lenses they need to succeed in and out of the classroom.
To support this effort, The Vision Council Foundation has released a free, downloadable back-to-school promotional toolkit. This toolkit is filled with ready-to-use resources, including sample social media posts, key messages for parents and caregivers, and more. It was also designed to empower older students to explore careers in the optical industry.
The free toolkit is available now at thevisioncouncilfoundation.org/back-to-school.
